The KASNEB August 2025 exam dates have officially been released, setting the stage for thousands of accounting, finance, and governance students across Kenya to prepare. According to a public notice from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB), the exams will take place from Monday, August 18 to Thursday, August 21.
This four-day window will accommodate 18 different examinations, including diploma, certificate, and professional-level papers.
Early Preparation Strongly Advised
In the announcement made on Tuesday, May 20, KASNEB urged students, guardians, sponsors, and training institutions to begin making arrangements immediately. Candidates are advised to seek any necessary leave from employers to avoid missing their scheduled exam days.
Important Deadlines and Access to Registration Materials
The final day for exam registration and entry is Friday, July 18. Students can find the latest qualifications brochure—a key document in determining exam eligibility—on the KASNEB website, at official offices, and at Huduma Centres in various towns including Nairobi, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, and Mombasa.
The brochure is also accessible through training institutions and Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) branches across the country.

Payment Guidelines and Registration Requirements
Local candidates are required to make payments through the KASNEB student portal, where a step-by-step guide is available. International candidates must submit fees via KASNEB’s dollar account at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).
KASNEB emphasized that cash payments will not be accepted under any circumstances, and warned students against making transactions through unauthorized staff or agents.
All continuing students must renew their annual registration by July 1. New students must also pay the annual registration renewal fee by the same date in the year following their first eligible exam sitting.
